I’ve played tennis most of my life, starting at the age of seven. As a teenager, I traveled from tournament to tournament throughout the Southeast.

Tennis shaped my routine, my friendships, and the way I’ve stayed active over the years. More recently, like a lot of people, I picked up pickleball as well. Different game, different energy, but the same reason for playing: to move, to connect, and to enjoy the time around the court as much as the time on it.

In parallel, I’ve spent my career designing and developing products, most recently within the outdoor industry. I worked on gear that had to perform in demanding conditions, last through years of use, and feel right every time you reached for it. Thoughtful design wasn’t optional. It was expected.

Over time, I started looking more closely at the bags people carried to the court. Court bags were often dated, uncomfortable to carry, poorly organized, and built without much consideration for long-term use. Too often, the primary focus seemed to be on displaying a large racquet logo rather than serving the person carrying the bag.

The more I paid attention, the clearer the gap became. Players had changed. The way we live, travel, work, and move had evolved. But court bags hadn’t kept up.

Geau Sport was created to close that gap when we launched in 2020. Not by chasing trends or cramming in features, but by applying smart design principles to how people actually move and live around sport. The goal was simple then and remains the same today: create bags that feel modern, intentional, and built for the full rhythm of movement, before the match, after the match, and everywhere in between.
